Introducing our new Blog

Hi everybody,

My name is Jordy Delage, I’m the founder of Seido and I’d like to introduce you to our new blog today.

As Aikido equipment specialists and Aikidoists, we – the Seido staff – have acquired some knowledge and skills overtime, and I thought it was time to start sharing.

The purpose of this blog is not to advertise our products, neither is it to say “hello” every morning.
No, it’s more than that! Our purpose is to share what we know, as precisely as we can, adding nice pictures and videos.

Actually, I’ve already been doing that on our French blog for a few years, but … you know… who speaks French nowadays ?
Translations, corrections, and optimizations of already existing articles will be made by the staff members.

In the beginning, we’ll mainly write about equipment, its maintenance and craftsmanship.
But later, when we get the opportunity to attend a seminar, observe a demonstration, or be part of any other martial art related event, we want to share it with you by posting about it on this blog.

Technically speaking, this is a wordpress blog, on a high level shared hosting platform with a customized professional theme.
As for today, it’s a ‘beta’ version. It’s viable, but not as fast and bug free as it could be. We’re working on it, and our IT guy is a 100% focused on improving your browsing experience on both, our blog and store website.

Maintaining a blog is not an easy task, and it’ll be of secondary importance for some of us. Still, we’ll do our best to make it and keep it as lively as we can.

Oh, and if you have a blog or a website by any chance, and you would like to collaborate with us, share some of our content, or create a partnership, we’re totally open to any suggestions. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us using our contact form.
